The Israeli Defense Forces reported that they attacked and destroyed nearly 1,600 Hezbollah targets. These include various infrastructure, bases, and weapons of the Lebanese armed group.

According to The Times of Israel, most schools in northern Israel were closed on Tuesday due to fears of retaliatory attacks. The Lebanese Ministry of Education has also ordered all schools to be closed.
